How to Order
1. SCOPE OF WORK
Blacksmith Jewelry shall design, manufacture, and deliver custom wedding rings, engagement rings, and/or fine jewelry pieces strictly in accordance with the specifications approved by the Client in writing. Only written and approved specifications shall be honored.2. RESERVATION & DOWNPAYMENT
A minimum downpayment of thirty percent (30%) is required to confirm the order and reserve a production slot. The downpayment is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE and shall be applied to design work, labor, materials, and production costs.3. PAYMENT, UNPAID ORDERS & STORAGE
Upon notification that the item is completed, the Client shall settle the remaining balance within thirty (30) days. Unpaid balances beyond thirty (30) days shall incur five percent (5%) interest per month, computed on a non-compounding basis. If the item remains unpaid after three (3) months from completion notice, the order shall be deemed FORFEITED. All payments made shall be forfeited, and Blacksmith Jewelry shall have the right to dispose of or resell the item without further notice. Fully paid items may remain in the custody of Blacksmith Jewelry for safekeeping until claimed by the Client, without forfeiture.4. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS & BANK CHARGES
Credit card payments are accepted for straight payments only. A five percent (5%) bank processing fee shall be added to the total contract price or remaining balance paid via credit card. Installment conversion requests shall be handled directly by the Client with their issuing bank. Bank fees are non-refundable.
5. OWNERSHIP OF THE JEWELRY
All jewelry items remain the exclusive property of Blacksmith Jewelry until full payment has been received. Ownership shall transfer to the Client only upon full settlement of the contract price.
6. PRODUCTION TIMELINE & FORCE MAJEURE
Estimated production time is fifteen (15) to twenty (20) business days, unless otherwise stated. This timeline is an estimate and not a guaranteed completion date. Blacksmith Jewelry shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, material shortages, courier delays, equipment issues, power interruptions, acts of God, natural disasters, or other force major events.
7. RUSH ORDER / EXPEDITED PRODUCTION
Rush production shortens the estimated timeline to four (4) to five (5) business days and requires a non-refundable Rush Fee of PHP 2,500, payable upfront. Rush orders do not guarantee exact completion dates.
8. GOLD PRICE, MARKET FLUCTUATION & PRICE LOCK VALIDITY
Prices are based on the prevailing gold market price at the time of quotation. For custom orders, the quoted price shall be locked only upon receipt of the required downpayment. Any change requested by the Client affecting design, size, weight, karat, stones, or materials after downpayment may result in a price adjustment based on the current gold market price and additional labor costs.
9. DESIGN APPROVAL & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
All designs, specifications, ring sizes, engravings, and details approved by the Client in writing shall be deemed FINAL.
Once approval is given and production has commenced, the Client assumes full responsibility for all approved details. Any subsequent changes requested shall be subject to feasibility assessment, additional charges, and possible timeline extensions.
10. QUALITY STANDARD & ACCEPTANCE
Blacksmith Jewelry guarantees that all custom jewelry pieces are crafted in accordance with the approved specifications, industry standards, and reasonable workmanship expected of fine handcrafted jewelry.
Subjective preferences, personal taste, or changes in the Client’s expectations after completion shall not be considered defects and shall not be grounds for rejection, free rework, refund, or cancellation.
11. HANDMADE JEWELRY & DESIGN VARIATION DISCLAIMER
All jewelry produced by Blacksmith Jewelry is handcrafted. Minor variations in gold weight, dimensions, stone appearance, symmetry, texture, and finishing are inherent to the handmade process. Such variations do not constitute defects and shall not be grounds for dispute, refusal of acceptance, free modification, refund, or cancellation.
12. STONE SIZE & VISUAL PERCEPTION DISCLAIMER
The Client acknowledges that gemstone appearance and perceived size may vary depending on ring size, setting style, finger size, lighting, and viewing angle. Perceived stone size or appearance shall not be considered a defect provided the piece matches the approved specifications.
13. RESIZING & FIT POLICY
One (1) complimentary one-time DOWNSIZING is offered per item and may be availed only once, regardless of time elapsed, subject to design feasibility.Once the complimentary downsizing has been utilized, any further resizing requests shall be subject to additional charges.
UPSIZING, multiple resizing requests, or resizing that requires additional materials or labor may incur additional charges due to added materials, labor, and design limitations. Repeated resizing or major size changes may compromise the structural integrity of the jewelry and may void any applicable warranty.
14. ENGRAVING & RE-ENGRAVING POLICY
All engraving details provided and approved by the Client shall be deemed final. Re-engraving due to Client error or change of request shall be subject to additional fees and feasibility assessment. Complimentary re-engraving applies only to errors solely caused by Blacksmith Jewelry.
15. DELIVERY & RISK
Release or delivery of the jewelry shall occur only after full payment. Shipping and courier risks shall be borne by the Client.
16. NO REFUNDS / NO CANCELLATIONS
All custom jewelry orders are final once production has commenced. No refunds or cancellations shall be allowed under any circumstance.
17. GOVERNING LAW & VENUE
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Venue shall be the courts of Bulacan.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. No verbal agreements shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
